Building More Than Projects
At Cosman Assist, we believe that every project is an opportunity to make a positive difference. Social value is about more than delivering high-quality groundworks and civil engineering; it is about supporting the communities where we work, protecting the environment and creating opportunities that leave a lasting legacy.
We are proud to support local schools, charities and community initiatives, helping to inspire the next generation, improve local wellbeing and invest in a more sustainable future. From careers events and volunteering to our partnership with the Kidney Information Network and our commitment to reforestation through SaveTrees, we are dedicated to creating meaningful impact alongside every project we deliver.

Inspiring The Next Generation
We understand how important it is to introduce young people to the opportunities available within construction and civil engineering.
Our team supports school and careers events, site visits, workshops and practical construction demonstrations. We have taken plant and equipment, including a mini digger, to careers events to give young people a more engaging introduction to the industry.
These experiences help students understand the variety of career paths available across construction, from groundworks and plant operations to skilled trades, engineering and project management.
We are committed to helping young people develop their confidence, broaden their career aspirations and gain a better understanding of the skills and opportunities available within our industry.
Construction Insight Day
Working in collaboration with Morgan Sindall, Cosman Assist supported a Construction Insight Day hosted by a local Pupil Referral Unit for young people aged 11–16, including students with special educational needs, social, emotional and mental health needs, trauma backgrounds and challenging circumstances.
The event welcomed 184 students, 15 exhibitors and 29 volunteers, with more than 35 people delivering engaging activities and sharing information about courses, apprenticeships and construction careers.
Students had the opportunity to experience hands-on activities including groundworks, brickwork, tiling, drylining and plant simulation. The event helped young people discover new career possibilities while interacting directly with construction professionals.
Supporting Health & Wellbeing
Since February 2026, Cosman Assist has partnered with the Kidney Information Network (KIN) as part of our commitment to delivering meaningful and measurable social value.
KIN is a community-led network supporting people living with chronic kidney disease and other long-term conditions through accessible health information, digital engagement and peer support.
Living with a long-term condition can bring challenges extending far beyond medical treatment, including anxiety, isolation and uncertainty. Through our support for KIN, we are contributing to initiatives designed to improve wellbeing, strengthen community support networks and give people greater confidence in managing their health.
